Former Richmond College student Aaron Tomkins was awarded a Helena Kennedy Foundation award at the House of Lords earlier this month. The Helen Kennedy Foundation helps students from disadvantaged backgrounds progressing to Higher Education by awarding bursaries and grants.
Aaron was presented with a £1500 bursary to help with university living costs, as well as access to mentoring and work shadowing programmes.
